The Rocking Thunders decided after more than 30 years to play "together again" in the same formation as before, which gave them so much success in the 60ties.
This decision came after a reunion concert in late 2009, where they realized that the fans still love their music and they themselves had fun doing it.
The dynamics and energy between the members while performing has certainly been the key to the long lasting success of the Thunders.
Old songs do Rock more, Roll more and they have added some naughty funk, which made all songs fresh and new with just a little more swing and tightness to them.
Elvis, Cliff, The Shadows, The Ventures and many other artiest are still part of their playlist.
One should not forget that in 1964, The Thunders won the country wide (Holland) talent contest organized by Radio Veronica, at that time the most popular radio station for the young.

Frans Keukens is the new addition. This old friend of the Thunders has taken full control over the vocals.
It is not without reason that he holds the title of the Dutch Joe Cocker and so far he is holding on to this with little or no competition.

Not to miss, as there are few bands who can claim that they are still playing with the same formation as when they started, The Thunders are an exception, unique !
